Bishop’s Stortford, 6th January – Scientific software company Dotmatics Limited (Dotmatics) is pleased to announce that Prosidion Limited (Prosidion) has licensed Dotmatics’ software suite to facilitate information access and project management. The solution will be used by Prosidion to query, browse, analyse and share key drug discovery information across research programs and project teams.

Dotmatics’ solutions offer the following advantages:

· The use of a zero-client web based approach provides our clients with real-time access to information and reduces IT support overhead.

· Integration with pre-existing informatics tools such as electronic lab notebooks, chemical & biological databases and inventory management.

· An easy-to-use interface allows scientists to make the most of the powerful querying, visualisation and analysis capabilities of the tools, with minimal training.

· High performance indexing and searching of large chemical structure databases including proprietary and commercial compound sources.

Waters Corporation and dotmatics to collaborate

Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) and dotmatics have signed an agreement to develop integrated advanced structure elucidation software to complement Waters time-of-flight (Tof) mass spectrometers and the Waters® Synapt™ and MALDI Synapt High Definition Mass Spectrometry™ (HDMS) Systems. The agreement will focus on developing a fully-integrated solution for structural elucidation of small molecules based on Dotmatics and Waters MassLynx™ MetaboLynx™ Application Manager software.

"We are pleased to provide researchers with a fully integrated software package which is compatible with our innovative LC/MS/MS and LC/MS E data acquisition strategies that will allow scientists to interrogate fragmentation rich spectra and reduce the bottleneck in deciphering important molecular structures.
